The Making of The Mercer

Chicago-based JDL Development broke ground September 4 on The Mercer, a mid-rise urban condominium project located at Tropicana Avenue and Grand Canyon Drive. The 113 residences feature modern design accented with floor-to-ceiling windows, open floor plans, and city and hillside vistas. Units range from 800 square feet to 2,370 square feet, although smaller units are available in a limited number. Prices start at $315,000 and top out at $790,000.
“The Mercer is different for a few reasons,” says Jim Letchinger, president of JDL. “We’ve paid tremendous attention to the floor plans and have created a living environment that is truly workable and usable. With our upgraded standard features, you really get a turnkey home, and our location speaks for itself.”
The Mercer is more than 50 percent sold out, Letchinger says, and the residents are expected to move in next summer. A Sales Center is open at 9700 W. Tropicana Ave., Suite 105, with a furnished model of one of the units. -DB
