Okay, how many of you agree with me? You love Vegas, you love our desert, you love the beautiful neighborhoods…and you’d love it if for once someone would build homes that weren’t Tuscan or Mediterranean-inspired. Yes, yes…they’re gorgeous, but come on. Enough already! Las Vegas is known around the world for constantly reinventing itself. Let’s put a little of that reinvention to work where the real people live, not just on the Strip.

Uh-huh, The Mercer: 113 real designer residences in the coolest, newest part of town, on Tropicana Avenue west of the I-215.
This mid-rise, currently under construction, goes high-rise on style and class, with semi-private elevators, a central courtyard with a pool, clubhouse and fitness center and lots of wonderful green space.
There are one-, two-, and three-bedroom units and each is like a work of art—modern clean lines that use natural light as if it were an architectural detail. It’s so cool! The flooring is dark hardwood—oh so-chic these days—and slate in the bathrooms. Granite countertops and top-of-the-line appliances and fixtures make this more of a museum of modern art than a place to live, and yet it’s just that. A place to live and a great place to make your friends green with envy the moment they walk in the door. Not that I would ever want to make my friends…oh, who am I kidding? I love it!
And if all this weren’t enough, there’s going to be 12,000 square feet of retail space located on site. Can’t get more convenient than that, huh?
